Moving to a Mid Century house changed my concept of style and design forever. What began as a love for the features in my home has grown into a burning desire to learn about 20th Century design. This in turn has driven my passion for environmental sustainability together with great design and practicality.
We are currently working from a studio at home while we look for appropriate premises. Until then, we are happy to welcome you for a coffee and a tour through our Kafka house. As always, we have a wonderful and reliable group of delivery people to carefully ship our items to you wherever you find yourself in Australia. And if you have your eye on something small then we can even send it to you worldwide.

Samantha brings her passion for design and artistic endeavour to her customers; scouring the country, she works tirelessly to curate the most unusual and special pre-loved designer pieces she can find, restoring them where needed and finding new owners for them along the way.

Samantha likes to joke that Stuart is the 'other girl' because in fact, there is but one girl. In truth, Stuart is an amazing and vital part of this hard working business because he is able to turn his logistical mind to helping plan the many comings and goings of the shop while lending his muscles to its many deliveries. If you have bought something from us, you will no doubt have met and appreciated his lovely demeanour.
